The flower that soothes the senses.
Lavender is a variety of local native lavender.
Perhaps the best known are the French and English varieties, from the angustifolia variety, whose name already gives you a clue as to its best-known property in aromatherapy.
Lavender, unlike this, is more calming than sedative, that is, it induces you into a state of relaxation but maintaining attention.
Its flowering occurs in summer, which is when it is collected and distilled, to obtain on the one hand the floral water and on the other the essential oil.
